Weekly Garbage

Collections take place once a week kerbside or from designated bin rooms. Contact council on 9978 4142 for collection dates and times.

General Cleanups

Two scheduled kerbside collections run per year for bulky items. Contact council on 9978 4142 for collection dates.

Green Waste Collection

Twelve scheduled kerbside collections per year. Items can be placed in cardboard boxes, hessian bags, paper bags, recycling crates or garbage bins. Contact council on 9978 4142 for collection dates and times.

Kerbside Recycling

Recyclables are picked up kerbside weekly, or from designated bin rooms. Council provides: a red crate for mixed recycling (eg. glass, plastic, cans), a green crate for paper, colour coded mobile bins for paper and glass and mixed recyclables in units (on request). These crates and bins are provided at no extra cost.

Additional Collection services will be provided on a user pay basis. Services must be prepaid, so contact council on 9978 4142 for information or to purchase stickers.

Youth Services 

Department of Community Development offers sport and social activities, a youth development worker and school holiday and after school programs. Youth Forum meets fortnightly on Wednesday evenings.
